Black-light reflective Goddesses

This goddess inspired art transforms in depth and detail when displayed under Ultra Violet lighting. What appears to be a flat block of color in regular light magically alters under Ultra Violet light, revealing hidden textures, brushstrokes and a variation of tone and expression.

Inspired by nature the Elements, and the changing Seasons, the woman in these paintings depict Mischievous and Seductive yet Bold and Elegant beauties of the night. They reflect intricate patterns of light that skip across a dance floor.

It is important to make our lives a dance with the divine. Allow the goddess to radiate and find truth and inspiration in our surroundings. Let nature’s power guide us to celebrate the gift of happiness thus enabling us to glow in appreciation.

Out of the darkness emerges light, and she dances gracefully across the earth, spreading love.

Debi has displayed and rented out her art for a variety of music eventsaround San Francisco including Super Club, Sea Of Dreams New Years eveparty, Lucient La More Valentines in LA , Carl Cox massive, Symbiosis festival, Big Bounce festival, TunOf Sand at American Steel, Opulent Temple & Center Camp Burningman,1015 Folsom, Annon Salon, Alameda art walk and a variety of privateevent spaces.

Your images display a great deal of sensitivity toward the subjects you photographs. And from my experience some of them may be relevant to magazine market as well. Have you ever thought about that? Fortunately, you do not invest thousands, the first photo I sold was taken by a 4Mp Nikon Coolpix. What you really need is to find an appropriate magazine. There are quite a few really good books and websites out there if you go looking. My suggestion is to check one of them – http://www.freelance-market.net – and try a couple magazines until you find out what does the job right for you. And certainly don't be despondent when your images are rejected or not used. After all it’s fun.

The exhibit at Anon Salon is absolutely spectacular! Your luminescent goddesses made the room into a fantastically colored-glowing wondergrrland. Powerful, beautiful stuff.

Hi Debi, these were amazing at the Anon Salon! They felt like light filled works of stained glass. (was the sun behind those walls? ;-)
That was the room to be in that evening, with many amazed reactions from the glowing public as they poured in.
In synch with being spectacles of u/v magic, are how bold and elegant these are as graphic portraits. Beautiful!
